Stop Food Lost and Waste at Arcadia Ecohome

We local grassroots at CIEDM will take following actions to participate and support this global campaign: 1. Pickup as much fresh vegetables and fruits from the climate Victory Garden of Arcadia Ecohome; 2. Compost food scraps by fruits trees to enrich the soil at the Ecohome's orchard garden; and 3. Spread the 2024 IDAFLW campaign messages and share what we do at the Ecohome via social medias to raise public awareness and actions.

The fifth International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW) will be observed on the 29th of September 2024, with the theme ‘Climate Finance for Food Loss and Waste Reduction’. IDAFLW calls on public and private entities across the food system, as well as consumers, to unite in reducing food loss and waste. This effort is crucial for mitigating climate change and enhancing food security and nutrition.
